Cooper Mountain Winery opened to the public in 1987 and began a quest that has led to 123 acres, four varietals and a commitment to alternative farming practices. Today, Cooper Mountain is recognized as a pioneering leader in organic and biodynamic grape growing; the vineyards obtained both organic and biodynamic certifications by 1999, the first winery in Oregon to do so. Cooper Mountain’s tasting room offers wine sampling for a minimal fee and the picnic area boasts beautiful views of the Tualatin Valley. The tasting room is open daily from 12 pm – 5pm.
